CancerX、世界1200以上のがん関連団体が所属するUICC（国際対がん連合）に加盟

2020年10月より、CancerX はスイス・ジュネーブに本部をもつUICC（Union for International Cancer Control = 国際対がん連合）にフルメンバーとして加盟しました。

それを受けて、先日、CancerX理事メンバーとUICCのメンバーとで初めてのミーティングを行いました。

UICCは、1933年に設立された団体で、世界中から1200以上のがん関連団体が参加しています。

今回CancerX は本拠地であるスイスのUICCと日本UICCの両方に加盟し、双方と関わることで，世界と日本と双方の立場をつなぎ、がんを取り巻く医療的・社会的課題解決に取り組んでいきます。

In October 2020, CancerX became a member of the Union for International Cancer Control (UICC), based in Geneva, Switzerland.

Founded in 1933, UICC is an non-profit organization with a network of more than 1,200 members worldwide. Together with its membership base of cancer organizations, UICC works towards reducing the global cancer burden, promoting greater equity and towards ensuring that cancer control continues to be a priority in the world health and development agenda.

CancerX is a member of both UICC and UICC Japan and aims to link Japan’s positions and the rest of the world to solve a variety of cancer-related issues. Recently, UICC’s Membership Team officially welcomed CancerX’s Board Members to the global cancer community.
